The test can detect two iso-form of PSA --- free PSA and complex PSA at the same sensitivity which is required by FDA.
The device with different cut-off 4, 10 or 20 ng/ml is available.
The clinical meaning is:
PSA level < 4 ng/ml ==>
HEALTHY
PSA level>20 ng/ml ==> Prostate Cancer;
PSA level between 4-20 ng/ml ==>
Cancer or Benign Prostate Hyperplasia.
